Our Infants are housed in a spectacular building which won a design award when it was built in 1988. The main school office is also situated in this building. The central area is an atrium with our new computer suite, fiction and non-fiction libraries and a maths resource area.
The original Sythwood School was opened in 1977 and this building now houses our Juniors. The first photograph gives some indication of the size of our grounds and we are very lucky to be sited in such a wonderful environment.
There are two classes in each year group. These are mixed in ability and the average number of children in each class is 25. To reflect the fact that our school is built on the site of the famous Slococks Nursery, all of our classes are named after trees. Please click on a year group for information on the teaching staff and the topics for this year.
